About USENEXT

It all began when USENEXT was founded by Aviteo Ltd. in 2004, and welcomed its first client in July 2004. Only a month later the site was online in English as well as German. Spanish and French followed two years later. Doubled download volumes without price hikes were part of the big USENEXT customer offensive in 2008, with SSL-encrypted downloading introduced that same year. After many successful optimisations, PC Advisor compared USENEXT to other providers and was impressed: "USENEXT offers simply incredible download speeds, where other services can be more hit-and-miss in their speed and availability." Naturally USENEXT did not rest on these laurels, but continued to focus on customer satisfaction. Thus in 2010 the online site was relaunched, and Italian and Dutch were added to the language selection. The Extra Boost account was introduced a year later, with retention time doubled to 1,000 days. In 2013 the retention time rose to an incredible 2,013 days and USENEXT offered access to more than 200,000 newsgroups with more than 30,000 terabytes of data! In 2014 we celebrated our ten-year anniversary with contests and gifts for the many USENEXT fans.
